Hey Friends, I’m Marcus Fetch

I grew up in the midwest near Omaha, NE and have always had a free spirit and a love for art, nature, and travel.
After high school I spent most of my early twenties traveling around the west.
Hitch hiking, drifting through different cities, crashing on couches, months of solitude in the mountains,
studying philosophy, culture, and looking for my purpose.

At 23 living out of a camper van with $50 to my name, I landed in Birmingham AL and felt a calling to stay. With no business experience, no network, and no money, but a deep passion to help others and create change in the world, I spent the next 5 years building Birmingham’s non-profit bicycle shop, which is still the only bike shop in Birmingham, ran by the community, and gives away hundreds of bicycles every year. An achievement I’m deeply proud of!

Redemptive Cycles.

At 28 I dedicated my time to the arts, ran a small creative agency, and started painting murals.
Since 2017 I’ve painted over 50 murals around the state, and have led many community and public art projects.
My art is inspired by a longing to capture moments of joy and inspiration. I often used scenes of children completely lost in their imagination, and instill elements of nature and surrealism into the scene. The end goal is always to pull viewers out of the mundane, invoking a remembrance of their inner child, and true joy.

In addition to mural and design work, I’ve explored developing products in AR and various ways that tech can be applied to art and marketing.
My Augmented Reality projects

Outside of creative work I spend a lot of time in nature, reading, cooking, and music.
I’ve been a songwriter since childhood, and I’ve spent the past 4 years producing my sophomore album,
Red House, now streaming!
